This was my show at the Hidden Gallery in Logan Square in Chicago on july 22, 2005. I exhibited my first set of paintings
in oil pastels. All paintings were done on found objects card board or canvases thrown away.I mainly worked in oil
pastels while I was trained professionally as an artist at the Art Institute of Chicago in 2000 as a sculptor and welder.
I changed my major to fashion design because it was functional and less personal and it sells.I learned to sew from a
previous job I had with a card designer Hannah Greeting Cards and worked mainly batik and silks and tons of Asian fabric.
The first two pages are pictures of my paintings and bio and the last two pages will be my fashion.
On this home page, is a picture of the first show at the HiddenGallery. I wanted to show people who were unable to attend
or got lost trying to find the Hidden Gallery to see the work displayed. More art will be displayed at Hidden Gallery.com
to see Esqui's pop art and Lissette's sushi illustrations. The pic above is a present art gallery owner Ken and friend Jeff.
